Silverthorne, CO

I did a full post about my first weekend seeing fall colors - but wanted to share some detail shots here.

It was such a beautiful night and I still remember how exciting it was to see the leaves start to change. I love the peacefulness of being able to camp, spend time in nature, and get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Time seems to move slower in the mountains, in a good way, and that's something we all need more of.

It was a cooler fall night where the temps were finally cooling down. The air was crisp and rejuvenating. It was so refreshing to casually walk around, even though I didn't have much time before the sunset, and take in all of the details. There were dried wildflowers on the trail, vibrant orange and yellow leaves on the Aspens, and other hikers taking an evening stroll to start their weekend off right.
